Project 1: Project of self discovery/ Self portrait |
For this assignment we were given two weeks to make a work of art that showed
what made us tick. My project (pictured on right) I made a garden created out of notes that me friends and family have written to me over the past five years. I choose to do this because their love and support is what motivates me and makes me tick. |
Project 3: Learning something new |
We were tasked with the assignment to learn a new skill in just under two weeks. I choose to learn how to sew, with my own pattern. I struggled with this project as I was constantly having to rip out stitches and start over. I was in the end able to complete my outfit, and learn a new skill! What I made can fold into pants (pictured on the right), a dress, and a jumpsuit.

Project 4: Making a positive influence |
To make a positive influence we were to pick a person and do three nice things for them. The three were to get gradually bigger gestures. I picked one of my friends that I had grown apart from to have a positive influence on. For my first step I went down and printed a paper for her while she was finishing homework. For my second step I ate lunch with her in the library while she worked on homework, so she wouldn't be alone. For my last step I helped her set up and clean up a speech team party she was having. The project helped to strengthen our friendship.
