What is Innovations?
Innovations is a fail forward class at Hse, for Juniors and Seniors, that focuses largely on ideas, and how to make the ideas in your head become a reality.
What do you do in Innovations?
In innovations we have a unit every two weeks or so. These units typically contain discussions, group activities, and videos pertaining to what we are focusing on for the week. Then at the end of each unit we share a project that we have worked on throughout the two weeks that puts what we were learning to practice. Some Units that we have done this year thus far include, Self Discovery, The Biography of an Idea, and Learning Something New.
Why did I choose to take Innovations?
I am a very project driven and creative person who loves to think outside of the box when it comes to anything. For these reasons when I heard about innovations, a project driven class that lets you explore your ideas, and use your creativity, I knew I needed to sign up for the class.
